For me who's not really a fan of the godzilla franchise, it is actually enjoyable and understandable, I enjoyed the mystery in the air which keeps me hanging on the show. Yet I do hope that in the next season the concept will be more focused on the kaijus and their origins or sciences as it would not be disappointing for those who are really into the franchise. Looking forward to the next season!
