The movie tried to portray discrimination experienced by the unprivileged class of society. It's a good thought. But, the moment I saw periyar (person who was believed to fight against discrimination, BUT filled with HATRED towards hindu traditions. Yes, selective hatred!!) I stopped watching the movie. Portraying such horrible figures as a role model is one the most stupid acts. The Tamil industry needs to do proper research before idolizing someone. I admired Suriya till now for gifting a brilliant masterpiece like 7th sense. Don't know what went wrong with his mind!
