An amazingly written and directed film about protecting your family and standing up for your family business. The film deals with consequences of every action, karma one faces for his actions, to value relationships in life and picking up arms against adharma if necessary. Every dialogue is written well and pays off unexpectedly but brilliantly, keeping an aura of surprises.
While the first half is all about build up and action, the second half is a deep dive into the repurcussions of violence, obsessiveness and their effect on life. Despite Abraar's short appearance Bobby Deol delivers on all fronts. An emotional film that is way ahead of it's time.
Bobby Deol's character needed more but the credits scene makes it all worthwhile.
Not to forget, Ranbir Kapoor eats up the screen delivering the best performance of his entire career.
Excellent editing and direction by Sandeep Reddy Vanga makes every film feel intense and meaningful. The music, especially the background score is nothing short of a masterpiece. A rare film from Bollywood that is memorable, impactful, and rewatchable.
