Omg, what a film! After years, I felt like I watched a quality film in the theatres. This ia an edge of the seat thriller. But, I would say it’s so wholesome because of the drama and emotions intertwined in it. There’s no romantic angle. I usually feel there’s something missing when there are no female character but boy oh boy, this was filled with so much sentiment, my heart was just brimming by the end. A solid 10/10 is what I would call this film. I feel proud to have watched it. What an experience!

PROS : * The dynamic between Simbu and S. J. Surya : This was easily the star of the movie. The fact that the antagonist is desperate to keep the protagonist alive whereas the protagonist wants to die was a very fun and fresh twist. It was a true treat to watch this. S. J. Surya's performance was just so delightful and energetic. * Technically strong : The music, cinematography and editing were great. * Engaging : Despite showing the same sequence of events numerous times, they kept it engaging. I especially loved how they foreshadowed a glass breaking in the air port way before the scene had true impact. You'll know what I mean if you've watched the film. CONS : 1) Slightly dragged out : I felt the movie could've been tightened up. Especially the first half. 2) The stakes could've been higher. Perhaps a flashback as to why Abdul Khalique is tired of communal violence? We would've connected more with him.
