Kim Novak was a huge international movie star Kim was filming MGM The Eye Of The Devil with David Niven and Sharon Tate and a host of British character actors. Kim fell off her house and had to leave the picture. Kim was off the screen for 2 years and was offered The Legend of Lylah Clare at MGM. Directed by Robert Aldrich red hot Director of Baby Jane, Flight of the Phoenix ,Hush Hush Charlotte, Kim had to think this movie would be a hit! With Peter Finch as co star with Ernest Borgnine also cast. Kim was outstanding in the beauty department with a wardrobe by Renie. The movie makes little sense as Aldrich dubbed Kim with a German accent. The movie ends with bizarre dog food commercial. Kim a big star took an offer by Warner Bris to get a quick big paycheck and to out put Lylah Clare behind her!!
