20 minutes into this show its flagrant anti-Catholic bias was in full display with a nun caning a student across the knuckles for forgetting her chemistry. The student assaults the nun and both are taken to the office of the priest in charge of the school. He asks the nun to recite a portion of the bible and when she makes a mistake the priest maliciously hits the nun across the nuckles repeatedly with a wooden spoon. Then, so that we all understood how evil he is, and by extension the Catholic Church, he repeatedly wacks the nun on the bottom. Gettit? He is sadomasochistic pervert. But wait, there is more. The very next scene is nuns supervising teenage girls undressing and bathing, then after the have stepped out of their respective bath tubs, there is a towels-opened non-touching review of the girls bodies. Oh yuck. So I have cancelled Paramount Plus inside 2 hours of subscribing.

Sharp, frequently witty dialogue, a tight storyline, a brilliant cast all combine to produce a memorable series. 9/10

It is what Vikings started out as but descended into sex, violence, violence, sex, violence, dialogue then repeat. And it is what GoT never was ....intelligent.
