Absolutely the worst book I ever tried to read. It was the most memorable DNF of all time! I got it back in 1985, and forced my way through 120 painful pages. I finally had to put it down and end my misery. The writing style never connected with me (if the rambling had a style). I never cared about a single character in it. It was so bad I never picked up another King book. This was my first and last of his.
