I remember watching this back when I was little. The more I seemed to watch each episode, the more I realize it had some hints of traditional cultural references, and I appreciate that! (Also like the animation and artstyle) While, yes, the plotline seems to go almost everywhere, and the main premise is stupid, I could see that they still have some great character development in many episodes. If I were to critique this show, perhaps give a little more thought on the story, perhaps give a better reason why Highroller seemed trustworthy, and make him more than just a simple bad guy. Same with all the opposing Animal Kings. Personal Score: 7/10 Not the best, but still respect how this show does many things.
