This book by Drs. Cameron and Namdul has become my personal tool for self care and integrative healing both personally and professionally. The book provided me with a unique lens to view health and wellness through a perspective of Tibetan medicine, a practice that is ancient yet relevant in today's healthcare that is in acute need of comprehensive holistic healing. It provides insight into oneself through understanding the basic constituents and an opportunity to heal mind, body and spirit in a simple yet rigorous format that could be comprehended by novice minds. I am particularly intrigued by chapter 9, "Creating a Good death," first as a Tibetan Buddhist practitioner and then as an oncology nurse. I am hopeful that I would be able to apply these practices in comforting the lives of my patients by enabling them to see death with grace rather than fear and anxiety. And of course, this is also a learning experience for me too. I look forward to reading your next book! Thank you.
