I loved watching this movie. It takes great hardwork to showcase a 'disorder' in a thriller manner, with cause and effect baseline. Not suitable to watch with kids, but a must watch for adults. In a world quick to shame and slow to understand, the plight of a woman battling nymphomania in her village stands as a stark reminder. Mental health is not a choice or a moral failing, but a crucial aspect of our wellbeing that demands empathy, awareness, and proper care. In ignorance, we breed stigma; in awareness, we sow the seeds of compassion and healing. This movie also sends a strong message about the ill effects of greed and lust. Lust and greed, like unchecked flames, consume the soul, leaving behind nothing but the ashes of lost potential and the charred remnants of a life unfulfilled. The movie also conveys a message that when truth strikes back, lies and their followers will be crushed to ashes... When truth strikes back, it shatters the facade of lies with unwavering might; nothing can stand in its path, for in the battle between deception and authenticity, truth emerges not just as a victor, but as the eternal guardian of integrity. Overall worth watching.

Very lovely film with an excellent way of storytelling and visual aesthetics. The movie portrays the village rituals, festival and culture in a very colourful manner. The way the past and present is blended together makes it an interesting watch and I don't find any lags in this blending approach. The story is very well attaches to emotions of people watching it through the culture, local community festival, their beliefs, and observed class diffence in the society. Overall an excellent treat for our senses. Loved watching it.

Never take road accidents easy. Well scripted fictional movie. Although ghost killing sounds illogical, it gives a strong message that how our daily ignorance in traffic and a simple carelessness on road takes away someone's lives. Every road user can understand this scenario, but in one way or other most people join the ignorants team, and in some cases, killers. The ghost here in the movie is our conscience that kills us for causing such accidents.

Watch a movie with no expectations and feel through it. Beautifully scripted multi-starrer movie - a trademark production from Maniratnam. Beware of police relationship.
