No spoil alerts here. Any Sci-Fi with Lawrence Fishbourne should never be missed. From one of the best horror version in 1997, Event Horizon ( still scary to this day) to Signal and now this great movie. I loved it from the beginning and it has you guessing over and over until the very end. It's well filmed and the acting was fantastic with Affleck chiming in as it's main character. The special effects were first rate and the plot just perfect. It's not Interstellar or Brad Pitt Mars over the top but....was somewhere in between. I love that there are still some writers and directors out there that can put together a great sci-fi flick. Don't miss it.

I read most reviews, good and bad. One said how could they paint a ship white so fast....others didn't like the ending....but how many of you know this is based off of a true story? Sometimes the truth is boring but this film was far from it. You feel their fear and want them to survive. It was reminiscent of Apples TVs Tom Hanks masterpiece, Greyhound which is also based on a true story. So, if you like great special effects, realistic looking German airplanes, what looked to be a real Bofers 40mm gun ( they made enough of them for years after the war) and really great acting....you will love this movie. If you want to be a naysayer and get turned off by one or two things that might bit a not so accurate like painting a whole ship, then you probably don't like any other war movie because all of them have mistakes and things that seem absurd. Did you like Greyhound? You will like this. Ended without fanfare but that's how it really did. What's bit to like???

I dont understand the negative feedback on this one. As a true WWII buff, I know whats right and not but its not a documentary. Its a well put together film with pretty good props and special effects bar the bombers, B24s, which were not the best attempt at making something realistic. Too fast in formation and turning if you ask me. Other then that, it has several famous A class actors and a newbie as the star actress. She is really good. If you watch this purely for entertainment without tearing the mistakes apart, you will love this series.

No spoilers!! I read some of reviews and thought all of the hemming and hawing about what makes a great horror flick with this and that should just keep watching Halloween sequals. What, are they up to 100 sequels now? Enough of those! Its like someone who rates a Doctor 1 star because they had to wait an hour to see the Doctor or the office messed up an appointment. Rate the Doctor. Those 1 star worthless reviews don't help anyone. If you want to watch cookie cutter horror movies with the same old jump scenes and boring scenarios, then don't watch this. To give you the idea of what I like in movies are along the lines of " The Pact" ( first one only and by far have a couple of the scariest scenes that made my skin crawl), "The Babadook", "Insidious" and "Oculos" to name a few. If you want to see Adrien Brody do some of his careers best acting along with an unknown beginning to what this series is about coupled with great filming, acting, special effects, story line with perfect darkness ( who mentioned that this movie needs to be brightened up!) Ridiculous. Put your TV setting on movie mode and watch it as intended or just brighten up your TV's with your remote. This is a great series. I loved it so much that I watched it all at once. I look forward to more Adrien Brody movies. Yeah, he has had some that were good but not great as with most developing actors but he doesn't falter in this series. Great treat I stumbled on by accident.
