In a violent nature, my time was wasted. In all seriousness, this is a poor excuse for a slasher film, the only redeeming quality it has are really nice nature shots, and the fact that its finally over, and i could see the same nature shots on cable, this time with dialogue. I understand the necessity to be different per se in your filmmaking process but this aint it. Lazy acting, first kill off camera, and very run of the mill kills thereafter….. The most interesting part of this movie is trying to understand what the director is like as an individual and what his suppressed thoughts of egregious murder/violence with no connection to either killer or victim stem from. In a violent nature, im glad it’s over. Ps. I already saw Friday the 13th…annnddddd….this was straight up dead by daylight…..

The only time I was thrilled was when it was finally over. This is the modern day Vacancy. The film tells you who the killer is within the first 30 mins. All it takes is some listening skills, therefore everything that comes after is by and large the most predictable dumpster fire ever. Drugs, sex, scandal, murder. It’s what the American people want I guess. Very predictable film, my expectations are always low as to give movies a standing chance. very cliche tropes, unlikeable characters, very telegraphed dialogue, and a setting that was ominously boring. The only credit I can honestly give to this film is the influences it was derived from...the market for good horror/thriller is slim, and everyone is up for a cheap scare so from a monetary perspective I understand it. From a cinematic adventure perspective. I found it quite dull and unenjoyable, Save your money!
