Wowwww! What a terrific way to end such an amazing anime franchise! Thank you, Hideaki Anno for one of the best anime series I have watched in my life. The amount of dedication and animation in this movie is incredible, it really made me feel as if I was part of it. I’m probably not the only one here but I feel that this movie really gave us the ending we truly deserved. Our little crybaby protagonist (Shinji Ikari finally got the character development he deserved and the ending as well. Little spoiler but the last few sequences in the movie made me feel as if I had just watched this amazing series for this first time and witnessed the ending I wanted from the very beginning! I 100% recommend this movie for the animation, character development and the heart warming ending.
