Love his books...not so much his made for TV movies/series. Based on episode 1 only, not impressed with story, direction, dialogue...etc. Actors ok, considering what they had to work with. Could have been better..too Hallmark/CW-ish. Might give it one more try.

If you loved AUNTIE MAME (even if you didn't), you will love THE GUNCLE. Great writing, entertaining, tear-jerking...been sold to be a movie. They better not ruin it.

Meredith- Like her, not so much the teleprompter. Dump it. She doesn't need it. BTW, believe she owns/runs the show.
Game - Love word games...this one good if it weren't so poorly executed. The actual show runs 19 minutes? Take out the verbage, and the actual game time is probably more like 10 minutes.
Guest Stars - Who? Same ones, week after week, day after day...must be some out of work celebs who could use the exposure.
The Announcer - Can anyone understand a word he says?
Audience - We know there is no audience (COVID), and reaction is needed, but turn it down. If JEOPARDY and WHEEL can do it....
PRIZES- The funniest part of the show. Wassmatter...couldn't they at least get a year's supply of Rice-A-Roni?
UPDATE to review above: The only thing that's changed is...they've finally turned down the canned audience response. And, if possible, the prizes have become even more laughable. A "knife set?" C'mon...

Fun old-fashioned musical. About a half hour too long, but if you're a Broadway fan, don't miss it.
