I loved this program, but the ending of season 1 is not a Jane Austen ending! Miss Austen's heroines always found a happy ending. Sometimes in ways that were hard to believe and with quick changes of fortune. To leave this series ending as written at the end of Season one is a disservice to calling the production an Austen work.
