Hear me out, I'm having the most fun with the current state of the game. (Everything is better than Warzone right now). It's not perfect, like not at all, but it's clearly not the worst game ever. Been a BF fan since the very first 1942. So I've seen how the serie evolved through the years. I won't go over the things that got tuned down but lets focus on the positive things. The gameplay: I love it. Yes the Ar's are garbage right now but we know the drill, we go for the META. The way the SMG's performs, I can't ask for more. It's slick and really satisfying when you get kills. It's not perfect, the bloom and all but it's really promising. The wingsuit, the grappling hook, they all feel great to use and opens infinite openings during a game. I really dig the chaos they bring. The maps: They look great, I mainly played the new ones but I like how they feel different from each other. ( btw since we only have 64 players and we lose half of the maps the next gen has ( 128 players ) why not release the other half of the map as 64 players versions? Like Ver. A B of the 128 maps. It would double the maps for the last gen without taking that much time and being too difficult? We can then all experience everything the maps has to offer. Performance : On my PS4 Pro everything run smooth ( most of the time ) In more than 10hours I've experience 1 big rubberband issue. I know I'm in the minority but good to know it's not 100% of players. When the map load, the textures look like Nintendo 64 graphics but it loads right after and everything looks good. Im being honest, this won't represent every players that played it but for me, it's really enjoyable, and can only get better. *Please bring back the end of round scorecard, thanks. *Please fix the ladder bug that when you aim down some ladders, you automatically use the ladder but can only go down and not up. Very frustrating when you're flanking enemies and you get stuck on the ladder, only to move down and get easily gunned down.

In the same vein as it's predecessors ( Until Dawn, Man of Medan ) Little Hope is a mind bender that will keep you guessing from beginning to end. Paired with great graphics, convincing acting by the actors, chilling score and some deadly jump scares, Little Hope is a solid installment in the The Dark Pictures anthology. However, I do wish Supermassive Games would ease on the " let's confuse the players, and the characters " and go for a more direct storyline. Sometimes less layers is better.
