Aciman mostly misses the mark. All the parts you want to hear most are way too short or totally skipped over. It’s a 400 page book, split into 4 parts. You get like 150 pages of a love story between an old man and young woman that is completely overindulgent. Literally only 20 pages dedicated to the part we all came here for, with all the best parts skipped over. ALL. UGH.
