Details in the movie that i noticed: Why Prabhas is named bhairava and not karna directly? ->As per the puranas,Bhairava(kaal bhairav) is supreme leader of time of this universe.He is the avatar of Lord shiva.He never lost any fight rather he is tasked to protect all elements of the universe.He protects women who could not protect themselves(as he does in the movie by protecting sumati) Prabhas showing glimpses of karna: -> Like karna,Prabhas didn't know who were his parents.He was raised by a commoner(Just like a sutaputra in Mahabharata).The removing of wheel of bujji resembles removing of wheel of his chariot in the Mahabharata war. Why deepika is named Sumati? Sumati is supposed to be mother of kalki in puranas who was also a mother of 60,000 sons of sagara and was incarnated as buddha in her past life. Why Ashwathama is almost 10 feet tall? -> People from Mahabharata period are believed to be that tall...Human evolution reduced muscle mass and stature considerably in later ages due to advancement of machines and reduction of physical labour Why kamal hasan(Supreme yaskin) is definitely kali? -> In puranas,it is mentioned that kali's whole body is made of visha(poison).When Yaskin gives a drop of his sweat to scientist in the movie,he instantly dies highlighting that yaskin's body is made of poison too.Also,in last scene,He has shown with multiple hands and demonic voice signifying kali,the asura!

What a masterpiece! I just stumbled upon a song on YouTube "Megham karukatha" and liked the song. I gauged the theme of the movie from song and wanted to give it a try... To my surprise,the whole movie was woven with a melodious background scores,brilliant screen play and outstanding performance by dhanush and N.menen!It was an emotional rollercoaster ride for me:)

Beautiful script... Excellent narration.. The main protagonist just nailed the role and all the supporting actors just fit perfectly in their respective roles! .The underlying message of this masterpiece is(according to me)- Life will never fail to surprise you by its unknown little gifts that we usually hinder to see! Sometimes these little acts of compassion and small gestures of gratitude due to someone's presence in your life make it worth living and spreading love!! It's like how deep you want to dive in the valley of "Hope" just to be able to pay back what you have received from someone stranger but close to the heart💓

About to ias,about to gangaster,finally a politician! Rajeev khandelwal nailed the role! Just the screenplay and overall 80s melodrama is not appealing though!!
