This movie felt like 50 different ideas were thrown into a hat and pulled out one-by-one until you have enough pages to be considered a feature film. Then add dialogue written by 5 different people in separate rooms who weren't told the plot of the movie. In short, incoherent storytelling combined with poor character establishment and an even worse character arc for literally everyone, hidden by genuinely good song-and-dance numbers. Watched it once, sadly won't be watching it again.

Acting isn’t anything special (except for Robert Sheehan), writing is lackluster, storyline doesn’t leave me dying for the next episode. I’ve never heard of the comics, so maybe fans will enjoy it. If you’re looking for something to binge during quarantine, I’d watch something else.

I’m late to the video gaming party and was so excited for a new Paper Mario game. I immensely enjoy the dialogue in this game. I don’t think I’ve ever genuine laughed out loud from a game because of what a character said. What I can’t get over is the battle arena. I tried and tried and give it a chance but I’m not here to figure out how to line up goombas in a particular pattern to stomp them out. I’m here for the cute graphics, hilarious dialogue, and story. I genuinely don’t think I can finish this game because I dislike the enemy fighting that much.
