Why is the message of the movie (trust) proven wrong multiple times including the intro where trust gets betrayed by the main villian. And spoiler gets betrayed later on cause the villian betrays the main character (shocker i know) agian. This movie is not about re-earning trust but instead believing that the guy in the white van has candy a week after you fall for it.
