Shameless has a strong cast of characters that can carry the show without Fiona. Although she has been the central figure in the show, the other characters were developed in depth and their unique stories and situations are just as important and essential to the story. After all, this is a show about the ‘Gallaghers’, and we love them all. Shameless is a raunchy story about the struggles of the dysfunctional and poor, who fight every day for their independence, their sense of family and their twisted values. It’s diverse coverage of all aspects of life and living, and every taboo subject out there, is told in a believable and heartwarming voice, because of each individual character who has brought it all to life.
