When you watch this, you can see the pup which became the next Petey (ring around his eye). Apparently the original was poisoned and these are his pups. Anyway, the Pete from the '30's had a funny tail, like it may have been broken at one time, and you can see it on this video, he can't raise it like the other pups. Just wondering why nobody ever mentions this, as there's been a lot written about the dogs that played Petey.
