One of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. I lived through this era and grew up near Philly. Back in the day, when cars did not all look exactly the same, it was easy to tell them apart and the year they were made. What a delight to see a "real" car again with big, steel bumpers. Period details were extremely accurate. Also, Frank's character captures a lot of the men of my father's generation--basically tight-lipped and somehow accepting of what life puts in their path. Great ensemble acting. Two actors who have the tendency to overact, Pesci and Pacino, don't. Di Niro is beyond fantastic. Warning, this is not a movie for people who can't sit still for three and one-half hours.
