Without a doubt, this is the worst Star Wars movie ever made. The writing is lazy, dialogue clunky, acting is wooden and the storey is about as boring as possible. I kept waiting for a twist or even and exciting moment, but none ever came. I was in a full cinema and there was not one cheer, gasp or sign of excitement from the audience throughout the entire bloated film. At the end the audiences exited in silence as if walking from a casket at a funeral. I am a massive Star Wars fan, having seen them all on day of release, including the first one. This film is appalling, and Kathleen Kennedy should lose her job over it. She has repeatedly screwed up the Disney relaunch of Star Wars by meddling in the creative process. Directors and writers have been fired mid production, etc. Most have of the films have still turned out pretty well, but this really is the worst one ever made. And being the ending it’s unforgivable. I would give this 0 stars if I could. Luckily we have the Mandalorian to watch, and hopefully over the next few years Disney can rebuild some good faith with more live action tv shows before attempting a feature film again. Perhaps by the time Kennedy will have left.
