This is my first time writing a public review but I think this needs to be said, this show is actually very disappointing, like many other people who have written their opinions on this show about how the characters weren’t consistent, the plot was terrible, etc... I just wanted to say for anyone reading this that the show had such amazing potential to possibly be as popular as greys anatomy or even obx and all American with a wider audience, I just don’t understand how the writers could’ve went wrong with this, I didn’t think it was possible, everything feels so off after episode 5, they make the MC take so long to figure herself out and what to do with the power, and in my opinion they just make her overall an annoying person even when taking in what she’s gone through into account. I understand the MC has to take time to process everything but if they wanted to make her take so long why make the season so short, when they could’ve made it more intriguing and interesting instead stretching the plot and making the show so boring. And don’t get me wrong I don’t just want to see the fight scenes I just feel like if they had done a better job with the OCS part in the plot the show would’ve gone differently. Like how could the MC escape so easily from the church when there are so many trained warrior nuns, it just doesn’t make sense.
