I always read the reviews to most movies I enjoy to see what the other side has to say. I think most of us enjoyed this movie, it was fun to get a new spin on old ideas, kinda how life works you know. Movie Critics are just trying to be objective all the time, talking about “lore” or “the plot” but honestly I never viewed Mortal Kombat as a Lord of the Rings experience. This movie was about martial arts, action and gore. I think that is why I was always drawn to it, and the video games. Who cares about a crazy in depth plot when someone is being sliced down the middle head to toe. The fight scenes were a lot of fun and the cgi really helped with the 2021 revamp to a new crowd of viewers. This is just a lot of fun to watch, somethings can just be Fun and not under a microscope. Cannot wait for the second movie to follow.
