Really enjoyed this film, Hopkins on great form as usual. The main two characters eminently watchable, whether they did meet up is open to debate as is mentioned in one of the closing captions.

Just sit back, listen and let this beautiful album wash over you. O wow, this is magical, a Cave classic of which there is now a list. Equally foreboding and majestically uplifting. Close to Ghosteen, but how could even Cave match that, and certainly no other artist alive could or ever will.

Whenever I'm asked what my all time favourite album is, it's been difficult to say, except to give a top 5 answer. Not no more. This album is it. Undoubtedly the work of a genius. Even better than So and Us, beauty and majesty permeate through it, some of the best songs I've ever heard. One hour and six minutes of absolute joy.

Oh dear, what a load of tripe, easily in the top 10 worst films I have ever watched. Literally felt myself dropping off at times, such was the slowness of it. And the constant thumping music even when there was nothing happening. Wasted 2 hours of my life and would have given it no stars if I could have.

A Christmas cracker, if you don't enjoy this film you need checking out. Sit back and immerse yourself in what will be an essential watch every Christmas. Feels like a 1960s musical with modern day cinematography and special effects. Whatever your age, you will love it.

A beautiful and life affirming poem, deeper and more impactful than Kiplings IF. Heard it today at my Aunties funeral, wonderful lines. In a cynical, greedy and noisy world, it resonates as a remedy for these things.

Awful, reminds me of the Saint with Ian Ogilvy back in the day. Gave up with 30 minutes remaining of episode 1, left the wife to watch it to the end. Fox is badly miscast, the storyline is corny, just rubbish overall, only saving grace is the scenery.

Very enjoyable and educational, but unlike Dunkirk where a thunderous soundtrack was appropriate to a war film and added to its impact, this was overdone immensely and actually detracted from the quality of the production. However, Murphy is excellent in an understated and riveting performance.
