I waited 20 years for a remake and this is what they gave us. What an awful movie.

As a huge fan that grew up watching I Love Lucy and a number of her movies I was interested to see how and who would portray the couple and I was thoroughly disappointed. Neither of them were believable as either actor. Javier's heavy accent erased any chance of a Cuban accent to be noticed. Nicole Kidman, was too crass, cold and hard with her lack of inflection in her voice, solidified face from too much botox and fillers and I think lack of understanding of Lucille Ball and the characters she portrayed.
