1917 hooks you and does not let go for two hours. Absolutely seamless, 1917 offers the best cinematography which indulges viewers with 9 minutes of continuous filming. Despite 1917's flawlessness, it also manages to be raw because there are moments which were not scripted or directed. Hints of brilliance from actors such as Benedict Cumberbatch and Andrew Scott, it's a real treat and a feast for your eyes. I wish I could go back and unsee 1917 so I could view it again. The heartbreak of war simplified and summed up in to one neat little package.
