Sooo good! I never got bored watching this. The ending completely wrecked me though! 10/10 would recommend

It’s your average Christmas romance movie. I found it very predictable but cute and entertaining to watch. Very cute for the holidays :)

I thought this show was terrible. 2 stars because the actors were decent. I finished watching it out of curiosity to see if it would get better but sadly my husband couldn’t make it past the first episode. I’m all for documentary’s educating viewers on racism, African culture, history, etc. but this, is not it. I’m mixed and my husband is white and this felt like all it was doing was bashing white people. Not all white people are bad, just like not all black people are bad and other cultures etc. He was adopted by 2 white parents and it didn’t really touch base on that. Literally the whole thing is cringe with him bashing “the white man.” I guess I’m just confused because I don’t really follow sports. But according to this, he grew up privileged had several baseball scholarship offers and football offers and obviously made it big with the NFL. In all seriousness, he can do better. Unfortunately this documentary/show is not it. I would not recommend this show.

The acting in this just isn’t believable. Kind of hard to watch. I found myself fast forwarding through most parts because they drug on for so long. I really do like Megan fox, but I hated her role in this. Very dry and poor dialogue.

The movie started slow and continued to be slow. For this to be 2 hours and 35 minutes, do yourself a favor and DO NOT see this in theaters. We watched this from home on HBO max. Not my style of movies that I prefer, didn’t keep my attention, but my husband and I managed to watch the whole thing. Would we rewatch this again? No. The visuals were good, but the actors whispered a lot and mentioned things we had no clue what they were talking about. Maybe if we’d read the books or seen the original it might have helped? But this in my opinion is 2 stars for me.

I thought this show was so cute and a good distraction for me to put on before work. I really enjoyed the characters and music in the show. Not sure why everyone else is hating so much on the show, but I really enjoyed it! I watched it in 2 days lol excited for season 2 to come out!

I watched this movie with my husband who is white, I’m mixed, and we were just in shock. The cast is great, but the movie was so so disappointing. The way the movie was written is that all black people act like this, all white people act like this, etc. which is not true. I get trying to educate about race, but literally we were both accepted by our families; the acting in this movie by both families is just ridiculous. Like this is 2023, so many people are in interracial relationships. This movie just wanted to keep things segregated and people should marry who they love. I wouldn’t recommend this movie to other people lol the comedy was sub par.

If I could give this 3.5 stars I would. The acting was pretty good but the story itself was really interesting! A slow start to get there, but once you get there you’ll be hooked until the end. Plus the soundtrack is cool too lol

I wanted to like this movie! It started off pretty cute and interesting. Sort of like a feel good sweet type of movie. However, 1hr in I was already asleep. I know of the 2 main characters and they didn't feel like a believable couple to me in this movie. I don't plan on rewatching it and I wouldn't recommend it to others.
