I can accept a lot with movies and just let the story be what it is. But this is bad, just terribly bad. It's disrespectful. If they had done a halfway decent job with the plot and the writing, you might be able to accept the lack of effort in the authenticity with the top-billed actors and the blatant games being played with history. You could accept those things when the fantasy that's being spun is actually entertaining and well thought out. They just went all in, too far in, with the special effects; too many mistakes for me to ignore-making the scenery look overdone. Laughable costuming. I think I saw someone write Transformers but throw a little Egyptian in (accurate). The accents were weird and pulled me out of the story. The acting was cringy. The cast-yeah it seems like they just pulled some people who were well known at the time and hoped it would attract an audience. This is maybe for a 13-year-old and younger.

This is every Lifetime movie ever made. Obvious plot. Portraying women as being so easily manipulated, really!?!?! Things a therapist would absolutely never do unless s/he is disturbed as well. The predictable, annoying, and unbearable teenager ugh! What’s surprising is the acting wasn’t bad. As others have said, the scenery was great. Skip this and save yourself from being thoroughly annoyed, if you’ve seen or even heard of a single thriller movie from the 80s and 90s.

This character is perfect for Queen Latifah. It has action and some mystery about the characters' pasts. There's a lot they can do with the storylines as this show progresses. Well written.
