I finished watching "Our Blues" kdrama, written by the same screenwriter of "Dear My Friends" (2016) kdrama which has won many awards & I loved it 😘 🥰 I love Our Blues as much, because the storyline is so heartwarming & meaningful featuring complicated social issues (lots of tissues needed especially from Episode 14 to 20 😅) Also have a great line up of a lot of the famous actors & actresses in the kdrama industry, including 2 veteran actresses & 1 actor from "Dear My Friends" 👍🏼👏🏼 The cinematography is excellent & captured magnificent sceneries of Jeju Island 🏝😊 Highly recommended watch 👍

Last year I was so inspired by the meaningful friendships & family relationships in "Dear My Friends" that I initiated a free online community forum (Oct 10th 2021) based on it. This year I stumbled upon “18 Again” & after watching it, I am very touched & inspired to plan another free online community forum. Story of a father full of regrets in live at 37 years old accidentally “returned” to his 18 years old body but with 37 years old mind/mentality” with a chance to do things/live life differently. A very meaningful, & relatable fantasy-genre k-drama about fatherly/parental/familial, romantic & platonic love plus loyal friendships and teens struggles, are all gathered in this drama. For me the result is a deeply heart-warming, touching watch that has a way of making audience laugh, cry & leaving “love-print” in the hearts. Like this father-character, many of us may have regrets in life & have “harden/closed the door of our hearts amidst life difficulties”, hopefully this watch or the learning from it, can help the “harden hearts to soften & allow love & happiness (which are readily available) to comes in”. Great acting from actor-singer Yoon Sang-Hyun (do watch him in "I Hear Your Voice (2013)" & "Secret Garden (2010)“. My first time watching actress Kim Ha-neul" & young actor Lee Do-Hyun (congratulations on winning Best New Actor awards), both acted very well on their respective characters. Other young actors & actresses (teenagers) are good too. Well done to the whole crew! Also beautiful songs "If We Love Again" by the father character/Yoon Sang-Hyun & "Hello" by singer Sohyang (dubbed as Korean Mariah Carey)

My Mister drama is rare/unique as it did not have the romance as focus like many K-Drama tend to focus on. Lead characters Dong Hoon & Ji An have a unique relationship representing universal human kindness & unconditional acceptance of human mistakes. All characters also brought to light the beauty of family bond, brotherhood, neighbourhood with pure friendships🙏♥ The first few episodes was rather "heavy" for me but Episode 4th/5th onwards I was more captivated & I cried so much watching Episode 14, 15 & 16. Lead actor Lee Sun Gyun as usual excellent in acting (like him in Pasta & Coffee Prince). Lead actress IU or Lee Ji-Eun is very good too (my first time watching her). All others characters are very good too, together a great team which brought My Mister to become a very high quality kdrama. I found that I cried much more watching My Mister compared to watching Dear My Friends, The Light in Your Eyes, Navillera, Its OK That's Love, When the Camellia Blooms😅 but all these Kdrama I mentioned here are really high/top quality in their own way in my favourite list. ☺ Do watch them.

Must thank a friend for her recommendation to watch this K-Drama. It's a very touching family series involving three generations, each of the 12 episodes unrevealed the reality & harshness of life but lots of learning & reflection about the meaning of life. Beautiful narration of a 70 years old man diagnosed with Alzheimer, yet not giving up on his lifelong dream of learning & performing ballet, befriended a 23 years old aspiring ballerino (his ballerina mother died of illness & father was in prison) who was disheartened with the harshness of life, yet "forced" by his coach to teach this old man ballet. What an amazing journey for both men & their family members in learning & re-learning about unconditional love, trust towards oneself & trusting each other....in embracing the inevitable life's challenges. I highly recommend this K-Drama for family therapists, other mental health professionals, carers of a loved one with Alzheimer & anyone struggling in life losing hope & trust in themselves
