Martha Perantoni

Phenomenal on so many levels: writing, acting, cinematography, respect for the book. One of the best limited series in a very long time.

Oy. "Northern Exposure" meets "Days of Our Lives." What started out as an interesting diversion has gotten caught up in its own tedium. Interesting plot lines are...wait, are there any, really? Scenes jump around with scarce continuity or even interest in cohesiveness. Rehearsing scenes and character development are clearly overlooked as the acting and action is wooden. But for the eminently easy-on-the-eyes Martin Henderson the show would be nothing more than background noise for baking Snickerdoodles. Have mercy and spare us season five!

It was tolerable until the producers brought in Martha Stewart. Aside from the fact she's a convicted felon, she's the most uninteresting, self-centered person I've ever seem on TV. How about also featuring marginalized populations? You know, disabled people are great cooks but I see virtually no representation on the shows,.

Worst. Movie. Ever. Whoever thought a lengthy, badly directed, badly edited movie about a challenging subject would be honorable was clearly mistaken. What a waste of a great cast.
