A Movie full of patriarchy & misogyny. A mannersless guy Kabir Singh who neither respects the professors of his college, nor his near & dear family members, suddenly falls for an innocent looking girl Preeti and immediately announces that she is none but his private property. He, on regular basis takes Preeti out of the class in order to spend some quality time with her and for which he doesn't bother to take Preeti's permission atleast for once. He starts thinking himself the Master of Preeti and so he keeps imposing all his decisions, his likes & dislikes on her, like shifting Preeti to the boys' hostel or whom Preeti is supposed to befriend with etc. According to Kabir, kissing Preeti infront of her dad is cool as she's his private property but it's not cool when Preeti's father looses his temperament over Kabir's disrespectful attitude and bashes on him. According to Kabir it's completely ok to abuse Preeti's family, to slap Preeti and leaves her immediately after giving 6 hours deadline to make a choice between her family & Kabir. According to Kabir it's completely ok to openly offer an actress (Rather a woman) to keep physical relationship with him, as he thinks being a man it's his fundamental right to claim for any woman he craves for. Now lemme come to Preeti Sikka. A completely unsmart girl who loves to be treated like a puppet. She dedicatedly obeys all orders given by her bf. She never speaks a single word against of anything that goes against Kabir's willingness. But this so called mute innocent girl brings herself out as a Daredevil woman infront of her parents when her sister reveals all the secret & extremely private chats taken place between Kabir & Preeti. Here she seems to confront openly that she has a physical relationship with Kabir where she is not seemed to get frightened even a bit as she always is infront of Kabir. She can't speak any word infront of Kabir but she has that courage & valour to escape from her in law's house within just 3days of her wedding. She has that stamina to survive alone during the 8 months of her pregnancy in a completely unknown place surrounded with totally unknown people but she doesn't have that personality to reject Kabir who after putting her into such degrading & obstacle-full situation, wants to get her back in his life again. From the beginning to the end, Preeti is seemed to allow Kabir to deal her according to his mood.. A lady who doesn't have minimum self respect P.S: May God never give children like Kabir & Preeti to any parents in this entire universe. Both are the biggest as****es.

Intricated plots, woven fine by Anurag Basu. Plot that revolves around the stereotypical theory of 'sin & virtue' which is believed to be true by common people, in the end achieves it's ultimate goal to provide it with a proper enumerative and structural conclusion. Score: 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Performance: Pankaj Tripathy: Salute sir. This time also you didn't leave a single opportunity to make everyone speechless. 👌👌 Rajkumar Rao: OMG! He is the true gem of Bollywood industry. How could he play such a difficult character of Kabir Sagar aka "Aalu" with so much flawlessness and full of perfection?? Rajkumar, the TRUE RAJKUMAR of the industry. Hats off.🖖🖖 Abhishek Bachchan: A warm come back with the strong character of Bittu. I personally believe that he is one of the most underrated actor in Bollywood. Once again he tried his best to portray and give life to his character here in Ludo. It's Bittu for whom you will wipe your tears several times during this Ludo journey.👏👏 Rohit & Pearle: This endearing on screen couple will make you laugh as well as will make you fall in love with their cuddlesome chemistry. Together they portrayed that two hearts can fall for each other even without understanding their language.🥰🥰🥰🥰 Last and the worst is Aditya Roy Kapoor: Same expression of this fellow throughout the entire movie will surely make you feel to skip the sequences. Even the strong presentation skill of Sanya Malhotra couldn't bring out and excel their chemistry, just because of the poor screen presence and absolutely worst performance given my Aditya Roy Kapoor 👎👎👎👎👎👎 OVERALL IMPRESSION: Ludo may bring you back to "Barfi&Jhilmil days". Similarity of some sequences with Barfi may make you nostalgic and jovial. Again, apart from Aditya Roy Kapoor's performance, the film is absolutely a 'Must Watch' 👍👍👍👍👍

The guy, when as Ishaan won million hearts through his amazing screen presence even as a debutant, was never seen overexcited with the glow of success, simultaneously being Shiv/Jillan he taught us to accept even the failure wholeheartedly with a self-promise for a better tomorrow. #WE_ARE_SORRY_Sushant for being regressively unable to appreciate you during your lifetime. #WE_ARE_SORRY Sushant for being absent there to take a share of your hidden pain. #WE_ARE_SORRY Sushant for raising our voice in favour of your justice only after your painful demise. WE ARE SORRY Sushant for being blind inside when you were badly craving to be realised. #FORGIVE_US_Sushant 🙏 for being completely unaware of it that people whose hearts are still beating, also deserve justice. Sushant, I don't know what are you feeling right now in heaven. You may either feel happy for seeing the entire world crying over the emptiness you left us with or you may feel sad for not getting the same as a return gift of your hardwork when everything was in present tense. I hope her boss is not getting lucky" "I was not aware of it that you love smoking? Being a lady you are supposed to go through some pre-published eticates dear". So, SLAPS are not something which give only a certain physical pain to you. Even those thousand statements which predominantly try hard to degrade your self respect are as painful as a tight slap on your face. Both leave scars, either on your face for sometime, on in your heart for lifetime. Yes, JUST A SLAP, but it's enough to put your entire existence into a big question mark. "Thappad" teaches to move yourself completely out of a relationship where you are not being valued. "Thappad" is a lesson for those who think, "Mistake happens. Let's give them a second chance". "Thappad" is a hard punch on the faces of those who mislead their practical existence with the thought of a fictitious Utopian world. Best things about this movie are: 1) Amrita, a well educated and home maker by her own choice denied to stick to that relationship anymore while being felt unvalued for the very first time by her husband. 2) Inspite of being burdened with so many fake allegations, Amrita never exaggerated her statements in petition even a bit. Neither she claimed for the properties of her in laws nor she tried to put any stigmatized spot on the character of her husband. 3) She decided to move on but never tried to underestimate the love and respect she had received whilst she had been there with her in laws and her husband. Well, living in a patriarchy society where the mother of a daughter teaches her to adjust with her in laws and the mother of a son never teaches him how to respect women can't be a trend anymore in India atleast in 21st Century and yes, "THAPPAD, BAS ITNI SI BAAT NEHI HAI" #suvoshree

Keep sanitizing your hand and maintain social distancing" Within just a few words when Dr. Erin Mears described the entire scenario, gave me a sudden goosebump first time, though I have heard this dialogues so many times. Well, this is not the first time I watched 'CONTAGION' but today, for the first time, I felt the movie. For the first time I shivered with fear when Haggerty said, "We just need to make sure that nobody knows until everybody knows" . For the first time I weeped when Mitch was forced to be quarantined and still managed to smile and said "I'll be home soon honey" to his daughter and one n only support system Jory. First time my emotion was shaken in its deep inside when Dr. Erin dint hesitate to give her blanket entirely to another victim even in her death bed. She died happily coz she never denied even a bit to carry out her duty as a doctor and this scene signifies the the current scenario of all doctors and medical staffs. Tributing them even with our life will not be sufficient I guess.🙏 Coincidence happens I know. We all know. But it's really a mystery how Scott Z Burns got this idea of writing such a script 9years ago??? Did he travel by time machine to future?? Those who love Shakespeare are definitely aware of the role of Soothsayer in his tragedy Julius Caesar. All I can compare Scott with him only. When Bengali comedy "ভ্রান্তি বিলাস" written by Iswarchandra Vidyasagar was considered a copy of Shakespeare's The Comedy of errors, the coincidence was described with a proverb "Great Men think alike". I know this provert is simply irrelevant to use against this accidental similarity. Those who still haven't watched it yet, plz watch. Coz Goosebump is something to be felt by your own. Lastly, not related to this Covid19 effect, but my most favourite dialogue of this movie was "Blogging is not writing, it's graffiti with punctuation". Watched BALA today. The movie depicts the key issue of society, i.e the #Bodyshaming. A man living in Kanpur,is suffering from alopecia, which results a continuous hairfall and ultimately turns him to be a complete bald person. Well, point to be noted that the plot of the movie is not concerned about the disease he had been suffering from, but the extreme embarrassment he had to go through which ultimately led him to an acute depression, a lack of self confidence. So the point is not that Bala was bald. The point is he was forced to believe that he was actually a 'Good For Nothing Guy' that too with the lack of a pleasant and presentable personality. On the other hand, the female protagonist Latika is a dark complexioned lady and society forces her many times to believe that in spite of being a well educated advocate, she's not eligible to be married as only fair skinned beauties are good enough to be someone's first choice while being searched for brides.Beauty lies only in a fair complexion and you are a full-time oftender if you are born dark and remain dark through out whole your life. But the ultimate difference between the societical struggle of Bala and Latika was their way of thinking. Latika believes no one can make you feel inferior without your consent. Latika is happy with herself. She loves herself the way she is. She hates to use fairness product as she neither is willing to look fair nor she considers herself 'ugly' bcz of being brown. Pari, a drool-worthy super model (Society labelled her so bcz she's extremely fair) rejected Bala exactly the day after their wedding took place as according to her looking good is the only thing that matters in life. Even scoring 45% marks in every exam couldn't deteriorate her reputation in society, coz her gold like complexion and heavenly beauty always kept her on the top of everyone's wishlist. Now just think twice. What is the definition of Beauty?? Is it all about having a fair complexion or a slim & trim body? Or it depends upon your presentable height and the big& beautiful eyes you have?? Where exactly beauty lies in??? I am bowing my head down and confessing that our society still thinks that a creamy milk complexion is what a beautiful personality needs the most. I was shocked when I researched and came to know that India is the largest market for fairness product. People are obsessed with the fair skin tone and we wish and pray to Goddess Kali to have a fair skinned baby boy. #sarcasm_indeed.😂 Now the question is, how many of you can find a Bala,and a Latika in you?? And how many people can find resembles themselves with Pari who knowingly or unknowingly forces people to get deprived by their own short comings which are actually no longer their own fault??? It's time to think twice, thrice or may be hundred times. People who bully others are the actual garbages of society. Trust me you people are no longer needed here as you guys are too polluted to be cleaned. Finally the ending gives a wonderful message for which we have been waiting since last 2hours, holding our breath. The simplest message, "The key of your happiness is on your hand only. Not all feeling is meant to be reciprocated but the feeling of being happy with your own company will never ditch you in whole your life time".
