That was a era when there was lack of superstar the same old one where repeated in every movie same story too,but out of nowhere this movie came & becomes so much popular that both HR & Ameesha made an overnight superstar which paved the wave of new faces in the industry,everywhere its songs where played,during that time there was slowly rise in CD music system parallely to Cassette player all were sold out.Every channel were talking about them,newspaper was full of its articles regarding every star who were in this movie.Throughout that year its songs were played,its song & dance moves where the hot talk discussion in normal life.Before this movie HR had done Fiza that was to be released before KNPH but was released later,After this HR did not get much sucess till Kabhi Khusi Kabhi Gam & Koi Mil gya. Story-5/5 Acting-4.5/5 Music-5/5(but there were allegation that some where copied /inspired) I'm proud of that era where people love to go theatre with family & enjoyed,seen this movie in jam pack full house.

5 star for music Story is old one like that of Tarzan but with the Indian context so it was good one Good Acting by Govinda,Shakti Kapoor & Aruna Irani
