Interesting and informative. It's an older book written in the '70s, so all information may not all be entirely up to date, regardless it is an interesting and informative read. The author, Mr. Prescott, a prominent biologist and author, sadly passed away in 1988. However, his works still provide novices and people like me who want to learn with valuable information. overall, I would recommend it for those interested in micro-ecosystems or people who just like diatoms and wanna learn a little!
