I spent years of my life grinding this game into the ground, ARR through Stormblood, and I can't say I ever got tired of it. The only reason I stopped was for my second child being born, and I never really picked it back up. It's a beautifully designed game, lots of wonderful dungeons and environments, and even the older raids are worth playing over and over. The only downside is that you'll never get the feeling of entering this world for the first time ever again.

I enjoyed it, a beautiful open world with an interesting and new feeling combat system. The "play at your own pace" makes exploration more inviting, and the combat system keeps level grinding entertaining. The only real downside I felt was the characters themselves. Noctis' stoic attitude feels done to death, and none of them seemed particularly relate-able. I ruined my own game by doing one of the in-story special events, and gained like 50 levels at the end of it, essentially taking any challenge away from the rest of the game. Not sure if this was a glitch or what.
