For the first time in my life I watched this the other night on Netflix. I had heard so much about it over the years but never had the chance to see it for myself. I enjoy Martin Lawrence as an comedic actor and have seen him endure both the challenge of television and movies, successfully. So when I got to finally see this it was as fresh to me, as it’s release date. It’s sad how the posted critic’s review, from back in 1996, seems to look at things. I’m sure, most sure, he was one of us, (a Whitie) cause in “Black World,” this is a cult classic, for them. Now for my first time seeing it, I wasn’t disappointed. Shout out to the late lovely, Ms. Della Reese an actress I met in person. An extraordinary lady, who as a minister, touched my soul and gave me an unforgettable hug! She’s my angel now. Good movie. Solid 5 stars!
