💎Amazing! I really enjoyed watching all 16 eps of this show. Excellent acting from main and most supporting cast (👀Ms. Seo, Ms.Yeung+Boora), My favourite was actor playing Jun-hui who was exceptional. He made it all seem so real😍 Also, actor of Jin-a was superb. I really hoped for Jin-A and Jun-hui to make it through all the ex-bf drama and all the mum's BS (🧨) UNTIL Jin-A started making really inconsiderate decisions. I actually HATED her character towards the end, she came across as selfish, entitled and condescending and i think Jun-hui could do a million times better then someone who hurts him constantly, minimises his feelings and brushes him off when trying to seriously discuss issues😡. The soundtrack bothered me ALOT at first, to the point where i almost stopped watching *but* if you push through, the overlyplayed and very annoying background songs do become unnoticeable quicker then you'd imagine. This is 💯% worth your time so don't let the little things push you away.

Love Alarm is my favourite show this year in the catergory of 'love' and i would definitely watch it again. After reading some other reviews, i just want to point out a few things: 1. Who liked Jojo first? ...Yep, Mr Nice (Hye-yeong) - He was in waaay tooo deep, poor kid! 2. And who was so self centered that they totally ignored the above? ... Yep, Sir Poutyface (Sun-Oh) - that same selfish guy who in one of the first scenes creepily stalked his best bud, whilst Hye-yeong was stalking after the love of his life JoJo. Obviously Sun-Oh knew the depth of Hye-yeong's feelings for Jojo, which is why he got instantly JEALOUS OF JoJo because he wasn't the centre of his bro's attention anymore. Even his driver told him to back off but noooo, i suppose the 'Bro Code' doesn't apply to pouty faced child-men🙄 Although i believe Sun-Oh did have genuine feelings for Jojo, you can't be mad at Mr Nice for eventually doing something for himself, as he had been putting his pouty friend first literally since childhood. It was long overdue. He'd already put his own feelings on ice for the sake of his bestie. He was so lonely during that period trying not to be a 3rd wheel, and he even fought other people in the couple's defence. Jojo and sir Poutyface didn't work out so he finally took his chance. After 4 years, i think it made sense. *side note: Admittedly, Jojo was too immature (being a traumatised teen) to handle the situation properly with Sun-yo, and absolutely devastated the poor boy's whole life🥺. I felt bad for him on many occasions (the canteen scene😭) and i also felt for his re-bound gf Yuk-Jo(?) who deserved so much better, but he was inflicting the exact same pain that he went through straight onto her. There was no excuse for Jojo not explaining her past actions when she got older though, she had ample opportunity, plus he literally begged her for some closure. There's self-preservation and then there's just pure heartlessness. Far from the usual 10-a-penny, run-of-the-mill teen drama, I found this show had real depth in its message and it was highly entertaining. Even the side characters stories like the boy who created the app and jojo's cousin and aunt were very interesting to watch. I binge-watched 2 seasons within days. Great concept, great acting, excellent casting, nice music, dark plot twists and villains you'll love to hate. It was everything i never knew i wanted to watch.

Weak Hero Class 1 is definitely THE BEST show I've watched this year. They got every aspect of the very original concept 💯% on point, with EXCEPTIONAL acting from the 3 male leads and perfect casting. Yes, it's a story that's told before, but NEVER before has it been told like this. I defy anybody to watch this show (in its entirety) and not love it. Seriously - watch it now, thank me later! 😎 *warning* It will evoke strong emotions in even the hardest of hearts.

Excellent show! Def watch it. Don't judge by 1st ep as i almost didn't keep watching due to finding certain character aspects cheesy and annoying. BUT i gave it more of a chance and im so glad i did. By ep 3 i was completely hooked and binge watched the rest. RN I'm on ep14 and there's a buttload of action but i had to stop and give this review because I'm enjoying it so much. Great plot, superb acting especially by Ae-jeong and her mum and O-deo (the latter who i thought was seriously and continuously wronged by the main character, but he took it all with almost angelic grace). Loved the villainy of Jessica Song and the complexity of character Joo-Arin. Most surprised by the 2 main kids Ha-nee and Dong-chan, who totally stole scenes with their great acting ability (plus they're cuteness). I want an Aunt Sook-hee in my life!

This is entertainment at it's best, but i went in with no expectations and knowing nothing about it. Why I never heard of this before is confounding as it seems to have a big budget with big name actors. I literally stumbled on it by accident when turning over the channel one night. It was mid-scene inside of a clothes shop, and a woman who i now know is called Monica was suffering the injustice of racial profiling. She was cruelly and deliberately humiliated in such a way that i felt for her in every painful second. It was so well acted and intense that I had to remind myself to breathe after shouting at the tv. So, naturally i took the obvious step and desperately searched online to find where i could binge-watch it from the beginning. Every character is complicated like real people tend to be. Good people who do bad things, and bad people who do bad things- walking contradictions. Some viewers may not quite get why certain characters act the way they do at first, but it all gets made clear. The multiple threads are woven into an intricate storyline, and the character building is very well done. The action scenes whether fighting, shoot-outs or cowboy work are brilliant, not overdone but still so real you release your breath without realising it was being held when the violence is over. I Cons: Lost a star from me as there's waaay too much swearing. Every seconXord. I ain't no saint but even i noticed it's f#!cking extreme. Pros: All cast, all acting, every scene is superb. Cinematography... outstanding. Miss this and miss out. Can't wait for season 4!

How far we go to delude ourselves when it comes to our precious little monsters. It seems that Andy was fighting with himself the whole way through this show. Some are saying that they stopped watching when he got rid of the knife because as an assistant DA he should know better. Yes! But that is the point isn't it. He obviously DIDN'T believe in his son's innocence, no matter how much he says that he did, he was lying to himself more then anybody else as his ACTIONS continued to prove that he didn't believe in Jacob's version of events. But he was deluding himself. Even about his wife's extreme actions in the end. This could be because of paranoia regarding the violent tendencies that he feared ran in the males through his family DNA. In the book he turns out to be the most unreliable narrator ever, and also he starts to show his true colours more as you go through the book and you see that he is actually living a lie pretending to be someone who he maybe wishes to be as far removed from his father's legacy as possible. They missed a trick by changing the main book concept 'Murder Gene' from the basis for the rest of the story to revolve around to just a fleeting few mentions. Also, the Hope storyline should not have changed either as I feel it was the icing on the cake. That was the decider. But the show was obviously going for the obscure, decide for yourself type of ending. I saw that the author was credited as a consultant. Defending Jacob was very watchable and entertained me the whole way through. Excellent music and the whole look and feel of the show was perfect in tone. The acting was OK and sometimes good. I feel the writing didn't do the storyline justice in context of rounding out characters enough for the audience to care either way about what happens to each of them.

The last film i watched was Bullet Train (Brad Pitt) which was good but not great so I gave it a 3.5/5 stars. So now you know if you should bother to continue reading... ok so... I watched Never Let Me Go today for the second time, after watching it the first time round about 10 years ago. I wanted to know if I still feel that it ranks as one of the most original and well acted films. It does! So many emotions were wrought from my once-icy heart during this film. First there is this definite sense of something wrong, lingering in the peripheral like a faint whiff of bad odour even though your eyes are watching happy and looking healthy kids, playing and living their best lives in school. Then every so often you catch a glimpse of small weirdnesses - which get you wondering what the heck is going on. The story slowly unfolds and you begin to see that the relationship dynamics between these three main people takes a front seat, while the sci-fi context is actually the vehicle that is driving the three onwards (no more car metaphors I swear), it is the ticking clock that keeps winding down until completion. This is NOT a fun, fast-paced or happy film, BUT it will make you feel something, which is a rare thing in movies for me especially over the past few years. (I think Cherry with Tom Holland was the last film that made me 'care' at all). This film also made me dwell on the questions of human spirit/humanity, time/death, my impact on other lives + vice versa. So l recommend it if you are a thinker. Carey Mulligan is superlative as usual, but the stunning performances from Andrea Risborough and Domnall Gleeson were a definite highlight. They had relatively small but important roles and owned every scene. Also, Charlotte Rampling as the headmistress (who is convincing in every part) and the children who played the young versions of the 3 main characters were just as good as the adults! The whole look of the film was well thought out, with colours growing more muted in tone as time runs out, and the music blending perfectly with every scene. *Note I actually read the book a few years ago too, which I think helped me to understand the motivation behind certain actions/inaction throughout the movie. This was also why the film lost a star due to characters being less interesting then they were portrayed in the book. Still a must see.
