Disappointing. As a Springsteen fan, I really wanted this movie to be great but, it just didn't do it for me. Javed is supposed to be this great writer. His teacher, girlfriend, neighbor, mother, and father read his poetry but, I watched the entire film and didn't hear a word of it. He wins a big essay contest, which allows him to visit New Jersey but, I didn't even know he wrote an essay and didn't hear a word of the contest-winning essay. Not great.
