I think the book deserved a Pulitzer and the TV series diverted way too much from the book. In the series, we spend way too much time on Ridgeway for no good reason. Itโs not his story, itโs Coraโs. I hate it when screenwriters embellish a really good story because they think they can improve the story. They canโt and they didnโt. The cast was excellent and so was the cinematography. It was just the screenwriting I objected to.
