The pacing is too fast, the dialogue feels awkward. Yes they swear a lot on the show, but talking like that in a scripted show just makes it sound adolescent in tone. On a more preferential note I'm not into gore or blatant nudity. I would rather more be left to the imagination. Also any show that uses barf gags for gross out humor gets an eye roll from me. It is more gross than funny. Overall this is just a huge whiff for me. I have been watching critical role since the Briarwood story arc, and I knew there was a good chance this animated adaptation wasn't going to be for me, but oh man did they do everything in their power to make me dislike this show, because I love the characters and the talent of the voice actors. I just think they were so focused on getting the most out of their mature rating that they lost sight of making an interesting world, relatable characters and good dialogue.
