Yes it is unashamedly a feelgood film, and at times it does slip into sentimentality, but the sudden eruptions of violence and intimidation along with the growing sense that, no matter how much you feel you belong somewhere, there comes a time when leaving is only thing that makes sense make this a compelling drama.
