I've been whatever with a lot of shows and movies on Netflix. I haven't been able to watch anything for more than 20 minutes but this just hooked me in right from the beginning. The chemistry is oozing. The dialogues - just so captivating. It's sweet, romantic, but not cringy at all! Even the sermon was so good. Now I even know what a shiksa is hahaha. Did I mention that the chemistry is oozing out of this world?

I’ve seen a lot of bad dramas with high ratings and I’ve never seen a drama with less than 4.5 rating no matter how bad I thought it was. So to my surprise when I see a rating of 2.5. There must be an angry mob reviewing since this has over 2000 reviews. I’ve already watched 10 episodes before looking at the reviews. I think it’s a fun rom-com that makes me laugh. The Arab prince scene is a bit ridiculous but definitely not offensive. I see a lot of reviews talking about the portrayal of the Arab prince and how offensive it is that they hired an Indian actor. Omg get a grip! Don’t you see a bunch of Irish/British/Australian actors playing American characters with American accent? Or Americans playing Russian spy with a Russian accent etc. It’s called acting. Overall, the drama is lighthearted so don’t expect any intense drama but I wouldn’t say it’s 2.5 rating. If you don’t enjoy the drama, move on. No need to be butt hurt about it.

Let me start by saying that I am a seasoned drama watcher and this is my first review. I've seen countless C-dramas and most of them annoy me either with their ridiculous storyline or too many clingy moments or the female lead being extremely annoying and always doing something stupid. You won't get any of that in this drama. Instead, you will feel the love and chemistry of the two leads. It's really hard for me to finish a drama after watching so many and I couldn't stop watching this one. I even rewatched a few episodes over and over again. I feel like I couldn't stop crying, smiling, and breathing all at once for the characters. There are moments that felt so real and not even acting. The way the ML looks at the FL. His eyes and lips can tell stories hahaha. If I was going to change anything, I would cut a few earlier episodes and make the ending a bit longer. Other than that, it was an extremely well-executed story. Definitely top 5 for me.
