One of my favorite of the various British mysteries shows, luv some of Dalziel's one-liners, such as "as bent as a Boxing Day turd"; and some of the locations are graet in some episodes, like wildly bleak mountainous locations such as Skelby Moor and Beulah Hite. I have the furst 8 seasons on DVD, would like to get the rest of the series.

For me, this movie brawt "Moonraker" to mind big-time with the space station and it's ultimate demise and the heroes escaping on a "lifeboat" at the last minit, as a module in the case of "Geostorm", as a space-shuttle in "Moonraker", and with the satellite heat-ray that was used - this appeared in another Bond movie "Diamonds are Forever" I think it was wherein it was used to destroy nuclear missile installations. Very similar. I'm not normally a big fan of CGI in big-budget movies but "Geostorm" held enuf interest for me to give it 3 stars out of 5.
