For me, this game is a perfect blend of the top-down Zelda-genre and the Souls-like genre. It’s over-the-top gore, lovecraftian horror vibe, and an immense feeling of isolation makes for a sickeningly fun atmosphere. The collectibles and lore behind the items make this game as deep as you’d like it to be. Dive deep into the characters and world building, or just splash around and chop through the grotesque hordes. My only gripe is, I want more. -J
