I found this film to be highly satisfactory. I got what I was needing. " A strange and twisted story." This is what is called a thriller and it leaves no stone unturned while it beguiles and taunts the audience. It was disappointing that the acting was not quite as good as the story however, the story is so good that it doesn't really matter. Not to me anyway. It is a good movie. It is worth a watch or two if you enjoy psychological thrillers. I recommend this movie to everyone.

This is a very well done suspense film and you will not be disappointed if you watch it. It John Hurt is younger then I ever remember seeing him and superb in his role. Richard Attenborough keeps you nervous and on the edge of your seat. It is set in 1949 and it truly looks like 1949. The movie begins in black and white but quickly uses color. It is not at all like watching an old film because it is so well done. Grab yourself a snack and put it on. A shocking true story awaits.
