The movie is a brave step to break the cliché trend of bollywood superhero movies that, in their attempt to emulate the hollywood stereotypes and their impossible actions with incompatible budget (of which, of course, the glittering star cast would consume the most), produce tawdry shams. "Bhavesh Joshi" is not about any uncommon superpower that make someone distinct amidst the crowd, but of one in the crowd whose anguish-come-tenacity and courage enmeshing with his sense of guilt elevate him to the level of a (super-)hero.
However, the acting, at times, seems to be pale and actions unconvincing. Priyanshu Painyuli, though, is just superb.
Still, Bhavesh Joshi, in his first movie, promises to become our Indian budget-Batman.
