I didn’t get it. I didn’t get why anyone was doing anything. I didn’t get why the guy stayed with the kids and I didn’t get why Lola left. I didn’t get why the kids liked the guy and hated Lola. All the motivations seemed backward and I just didn’t get it.

As a jaded 35 year old who no longer gets the warm and fuzzies from Christmas, I really enjoyed it!

I wouldn't call this bad or good. It's a well-made show to say the least. I biggest issue with it is that the audience has a relatively hard time inferring how the characters are feeling without being told directly. The teacher character just kind of tells us she's unhappy in her marriage but her husband seems like a pretty good guy. The teacher doesn't get caught in the act as much as she just tells someone calmly that she's committing a felony. Apparently the boy is having issues having relationships 10 years later but it doesn't stop him from getting laid by his sexy high school girlfriend. I never felt sorry for this kid. I thought he was lucky to have a relationship with Kate Mara. I never really understood why he felt like he was abused. Its a small story that I enjoyed overall. While the premise is a little gross, it kind of seemed to me that the biggest problem was that they got caught, not that she was taking advantage of him or manipulating him or anything like that.

I actually thought it was a parody at first. There are a number of moments that are just really funny. The problem is, it’s much more stupid than funny
