It’s a story of a filmmaker and more importantly how he makes a film. The film is not presented in a disoriented manner but is rather difficult for a normal person with average perception to understand it. The part played by Ranbir Kapoor is of a thief which is the lead role of the film made by Kabir Grewal. But as it is evident Ranbir at times poops up unexpectedly like in the last scene where they both sit on a staircase or on the boat where Ranbir says “ Ye kahani teri he , aur is kahani ka har saval tera, agar tu nai janta age kya hoga to koi nai janta “.There the character played by Ranbir is not of a thief but of a conscience or let’s just say an imaginary person to which Kabir Grewal talks to. A kind of his second half. You obviously remember him saying “ meri khud ki zindagi bhi puri meri nai he “ this is what it means. It’s a wonderful movie to watch but more beautiful if you understand it in it’s way. The way of watching it cannot be taught. You know it or you don’t. He makes the film halfway but then Ayeesha realises the fact that Kabir takes inspiration or help from their life to write his script. She understands the other half of him which is there. A change in a scene dramatically changes the scenario. Be cautious and use your mind if you want to get to it. In the end Kabir confronts that when she came in his life she became a part of it. Although he wrote his story based on their relationship, whatever he had was genuine and he wishes to move ahead in his life with her.
